About Lifeline
Lifeline is a government assistance program. The benefit is non-transferable. Only eligible consumers may enroll, and the program is limited to one discount per household. The discount is up to $9.25 per month (up to $34.25 on qualifying Tribal lands).
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information. False statements can lead to fines, imprisonment or removal from the program
- Notify your provider within 30 days if you no longer qualify or if someone in your household already receives Lifeline
- Recertify your eligibility every year
- Use your service at least once every 30 days, or it may be de-enrolled after notice
Our role
Free iPhone Online is not a Lifeline provider and does not enroll customers. We provide information to help you understand the program. Apply through an approved provider or USAC's National Verifier.
